More on our breakfasts...although we cater to diet restrictions such as vegetarian and gluten-free, we try our best to prevent cross-contamination but it is not alway possible. We use green and non-scented products where we can to clean everything in our home. Some other things to know we are carpet-free, pet-free and smoke-free home. There is a 10% discount for seniors, auto club members, AARP, CARP members and singles. Additionally, we offer friendly hospitality and love to share our knowledge of the region. We can make recommendations to help you have the best vacation possible with interesting things to do, places to go, tasty spots to have lunch and dinner, where to rent bikes, provide trail maps and information about visting the many local wineries. Our breakfast menu consists of a variety of hot entrees, fresh fruits and baked goodies such as:
1: Home-made pancakes and crêpes with fruits of the season, in June, organic strawberries, fresh whipped cream and 100% maple syrup; in July, organic raspberries, black and red; in August, local peaches tree-ripened; in September and October, organic blackberries and raspberries, in November and in the winter months, braised apples in butter with sun dried cranberries and 100% maple syrup.
2. Egg strata made with fresh organic vegetables from our garden served with locally sourced and drug-free meats (bacon and sausauges).
3: French Toast made with raisin/cranberry and cinnamon bread or French bread, served with bacon or sausages and 100% maple syrup. Served with fried or poached eggs, back bacon, and herbed potatoes. Vegetarian breakfast: stir-fried organic veggies and steamed brown rice or quinoa, toast, and almond milk.
4: Baked egg vegetable frittata with bacon, sausage, or ham and whole grain bread. We will substitute stir-fried vegetables instead of meat. Guests can also request simpler entrees such as hot oatmeal, granola, and brand cereal.
5. Two-or-three egg French Omelette with choice of homegrown organic veggies, ham, mushrooms and freshly grated cheese, served with whole grain bread, butter and preserves.
6: Eggs any style, with sausage, bacon and ham, herbed potatoes and whole grain bread.
